At the age of 15, David became interested in EDM industry. It was the same year when he bought his first Mixer and became a classic Bedroom DJ. He started digging in YouTube videos watching other DJs sets, spending hours into learning how to mix. With an early transition to Serato, he was able to explore the musical world limitlessly. His First Gig was at a small Bar in his Hometown. A year later, in the age of 16, David got the chance to play a residency at a Club before he was legally allowed to enter it. He played Urban Hip Hop and RnB because it was wanted by the Clubs owner. Even if it wasn’t his typical Genre he learned a lot about mixing different Styles and fill dancefloors in clubs. He received a lot of attention from the partygoers and other DJs, who invited him to play in other Clubs later.
David created an own Party-Label together with friends in the biggest Club of his Hometown. He experienced for the first time playing in front of over 600 People. The same year his was able to play at one of Switzerlands biggest Silvester Festivals named “Mountain Bash” right before Mike Candys in front of a 2000 People Crowd.
Influenced by his stays in Ibiza, Paris, Zurich, David became more and more interested into the underground scene of the electronic dance music. This also changed his style of the sets he was performing live. It became the combination from tech house, melodic techno and progressive house filled with danceable beats and uplifting melodies.
David graduated from school also solved the duty training of the Swiss Army. After the summer he decided to reinvent himself as a DJ. He changed his Alias to DIVID. It was the new project which he is still performing at this day as an independent underground electronic artist. It was the same year where David created his new party label Amnesia.
As we all know… there wasn’t a lot of party. But David still managed to play at Switzerlands biggest events of the year. First Gig After Lockdown at Europes highest Beach Club “Morosani Beach” in Davos for Cosmic Garden, Felsenbar Daytimer in Chur and the Big Air Festival 2022 with over 10000 visitors where deifnetly the highlights of the year.
Long story short… all COVID restriction were eased in Switzerland. David became the chance to play at some of Switzerlands biggest Festivals. Street Parade Zurich, Openair Frauenfeld, Big Air Chur, Summer Fest Chur, Morosani Beach Davos, Sunice Festival St. Moritz were the Highlights of this year along several Club Shows around Switzerland.
